Yoga And Wellness Escape
With its natural green environment, landscaped gardens and distant ocean views, Ifiele’ele Plantation is the perfect, tranquil location to practice yoga. What better way to relax, renew and revitalize your senses than by starting and finishing each day with yoga? Calm the mind and treat your body to the benefits of yoga for three consecutive days and feel totally revitalized by the time you leave.
Each day begins with a 1.5 hour yoga session. This is followed by a leisurely, healthy breakfast. The package includes day-time excursions to some of Samoa’s beautiful beaches and quiet villages on days one and three. Day two is reserved for optional spa treatments or other activities of your choice. Each day’s organised activities conclude with an early evening yoga session which is followed by 30 minutes of guided meditation, before dinner is served.
Ifiele’ele’s yoga instructor is Suga Reya Kalishantananda (Rachel Laulu). Rachel has studied yoga since 1995, and is inspired by many teachings. With a background in Holistic Kinesiology, Hypnotherapy, Counseling and Massage, Rachel’s approach to yoga is one that honours the draw to self-study. Rachel works to teach you how to be in your body, to enjoy your body and to thrive. Teaching yoga in a wide range of environments from the forests of Chiang Rai to the beaches of Ibiza, Rachel is happy to now be living in her father’s land of Samoa.
Rachel will guide you through each yoga and meditation session. Classes will explore various styles of yoga including Hatha, Ashtanga flow, yin, kundalini. Rachel can tailor classes according to the level of participants. So whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for some time, classes will be structured to suit your level. Rachel has also taught yoga for children which means we can offer the retreat to family groups and include classes for children.
All meals in this package are vegetarian but we will cater to guests’ food preferences and dietary requirements. Our food philosophy is to use fresh, locally-grown ingredients wherever possible. Some of these will be sourced from our own organic plantation including an unlimited supply of freshly picked ‘niu’ or drinking coconuts. Ingredients we don’t grow ourselves will be purchased from other local farmers. You will be nourishing your body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga, while at the same time nourishing your body with fresh, healthy food.
Rates
The 4-night Yoga and Wellness Escape package including accommodation, all meals, airport transfers and transport for excursions is available for USD860 per single or USD1515 per double or twin-share.
Airfares, alcoholic beverages and optional activities on Day 2 of the program are not included in the package price.
Schedule for 2022-23
Yoga Escapes are designed for small groups so that we are able to provide a friendly, personalized touch. The minimum number of participants required for a ‘Yoga and Wellness Escape’ is 6, and we can cater for a maximum of 12 people. If you have a group of 6 to 12 people, you may request a ‘Yoga and Wellness Escape’ at any time. Individuals or couples should register their interest and preferred dates so that an Escape can be scheduled when there is sufficient interest.
